FAQ
Good questions.
What does "on-prem cloud" actually mean?
It means the server lives on your property — in an office closet, a rack, or a corner of the house — instead of in a data center owned by a company like Amazon or Google. You get the same kind of access to your files and backups from anywhere, but the hardware, and your data, are physically yours.
Do I need to already own hardware?
No. Most customers buy the hardware through us — we spec it to the job, source it, and build it. If you already have hardware you want to use, we can work with that too.
Is this only for businesses?
No. About half of what we build is for individuals and families who want a home server for backups, media, or photos, without paying for cloud storage forever.
What happens after the install?
We stay on. Ongoing support and consulting are part of every build — if something needs attention or you want to expand later, you call us, not a support queue.
